HOW THEY SOUND
Guitar4mation has a long history of going for the unusual. Over the years, the group has built an impressive repertoire with a variety of musical styles, from romantic works by Schumann, Chopin and Szymanowski to impressionistic and Spanish composers; from classic tangos to Beatles arrangements, from contemporary new works written for them to jazz and pop songs. This openness to many musical worlds is reflected in the ensemble’s concert programs and can be heard on their CDs. Guitar4mation’s unique arrangements use all the colors 4 guitars can produce, making the most of two eight string guitars that add extra range and sonority.
