Guitar4mation performs at the Eggenberger Schlosskonzerte 2012
This August, Guitar4mation will perform at the renowned "Eggenberger Schlosskonzerte 2012" in Graz, Austria. There, the group will play their new arrrangments of 4 Studies op.56 by Robert Schumann for the first time. Radio OE1 will record the concert.

M.S.Guitar4mation in Concert
This spring, Guitar4mation will perform at three international guitar festivals.
We will play our new arrangements with music by Hermeto Pascoal and Egberto Gismonti as well as works by Rodrigo, Chopin, Ginastera, Gubitsch, Piazzolla and Chick Corea.

Our musicians Michal Nagy and Petr Saidl seem to be unfullfilled by only working with Guitar4mation. For that reason, they organize two great guitar festivals, and here is some information about them:

Arranging for Guitar - a workshop with Martin Schwarz
In the coming months, Martin Schwarz will hold two workshops about his favourite topic - arranging for guitar. This is all about the art of adapting music of different styles for our wonderful instrument, from beginner's level to professional concert arrangements. In a step by step power point demonstration, the workshop will show the long way from selecting the right pieces to elaborate arrangements using numerous examples from different genres.

New CD recording started
On the menu for this session will be music by Frederic Chopin: 4 Préludes op.28, the famous Waltz op.64 no.2 in a very peculiar version full of Venezuelan and Viennese influences as well as the Prélude op.28 no.4. 2011-12-24 Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year 2012
The hope to finish our new homepage before Xmas was in vain. We now decided to complete the project at the beginning of next year. Because all the texts, photos, videos and audio will be completey new, there is a lot of material to process - and this takes time! Guitar4mation’s musicians send their best wishes to all friends, fans and colleagues. We are looking forward to meeting you again in 2012 (and also to be playing for you again!) This January, Guitar4mation will start recording new material for the next CD. We are looking forward to a renewed collaboration with our recording engineer Antonin Dvorak (for all who still don’t know: this is his real name!) and our recording supervisor Milos Sir at the Pardubice Conservatory in the Czech Republic.
