The MusiciansMichal Nagy
Michał is the true gentleman among us. Elegant, galant, eloquent and well educated (you may even call him an intellectual), he is always good for a joke. He expresses his humanity and kindness with an open mind and open house for foreign people and cultures and greatly enjoys social contacts - we call them 'parties'. His classical education only shows occasionally.
Martin Wesely
No one can create a cheerful mood as well as Martin, and with four children to cope with - we are not talking about Guitar4mation here - it is an ability he often needs. His infectious humour only shows when he is feeling really at ease, though. Martin's ample stylistic range keeps impressing us, especially when he switches effortlessly from Bach to a flamboyant fingerstyle solo or starts to improvise on an Chopin Prelude.
His joy when making music can encompass you with sparkling energy. Besides, he is the only guitarist we know who can jump over a music stand from a sitting position, guitar in hand ( in good Tyrolean ski-jumping tradition). Recently, Martin has been exploring another talent: His charming voice, which he uses to good effect in our concert encores (see video 'Besame Mucho'). Petr Saidl
Petr is the quiet centre of gravitation around which Guitar4mation's planets circle. His profound musical sensivity, breathtaking virtuosity and tonal finesse add an extra quality to Guitar4mation's sound. His great experience and patience as a very successful teacher is often put to hard tests when working with his unteachable colleagues, though. Martin Schwarz
Martin is our jack of all trades: From arrangement to concert programme, from web design to breakfast egg, he is the one to turn to. In short: He is the group's heart. With his wide musical horizon - Wesely has come to the belief that you simply see more at 1.85 metres above ground level - he is able to understand music of all styles beyond mere guitar playing and to approach it with his unique arrangements.
